Junior Fair Board Members are ambassadors of the fair and participate in community service activities such as planning, preparation, and presentation of the Amador County Fair.
They cultivate future community leaders by empowering young community members through active involvement in all aspects of the fair, promoting agricultural awareness, and building valuable leadership skills.

While growing up in Amador County, I raised market hogs for the Amador County Fair Junior Livestock Auction for 10 years. Throughout that time, I participated in various club projects as a member of the Jackson Gold Wheels 4-H Club, Clinton Jr. Grange, and Argonaut FFA. In high school, I began working for Swingle Meat Company, spending 4 years learning the operations of a meat processing company, food safety regulations and quality control standards. While also in high school, I spent 2 summers working for Simmons Landscape Company, where I have now returned full-time, gaining experience in landscape construction, hardscape installation, and operating heavy equipment. I am very excited to be part of the Junior Fair Board, and am looking forward to working together with the rest of this board in service of our community and the Amador County Fair.
